The Complaints Assessment Committee is an independent decision-making body which determines outcomes for conduct complaints and mandatory reports brought against teachers. The process is run by teachers, for teachers and aims for a process which embodies the same values as the teaching profession.

A health issue or other problem could affect the teacher’s ability to teach or their conduct. The Impairment Committee will assess how serious and what help is needed.
