The CAC panel made up of registered teachers from a range of sectors (ECE, primary and secondary) and a lay person. There will also be a legal advisor and CAC advisor to advise the panel of legal and process requirements.

Yes, you are welcome to bring support people with you to the CAC hui. Please let the CAC advisor know when they contact you to arrange the date and time of the hui.

This is where the CAC will review and make a decision on a case based on the investigation report and teacher’s response. The teacher does not attend.

No, the CAC decision is not published with the public or media. The decision will be sent to the Teacher or their representative and a summary sent to the initiator.
